School is out for the summer and this is optimum time for Facilities and Construction to renovate existing schools or build completely new facilities; add classroom spaces; or simply move and relocate students and faculty to achieve redistricting requirements. Regardless of the plan, each scenario impacts Technology, Security and Space Planning. Our Engineers and Project Managers were onboard well in advance of construction to design and plan for Network Connectivity: ID Badges for Access Control; layout and placement of furniture and electrical outlets; and configuration and online viewing for surveillance.
Leading up to the commence of construction, our team takes our clients vision; correlates the vision into a technical design and performance specification; work with the A/E firm to insure connectivity, compatibility and placement of system devices; and work with the General Contractor (on behalf of the client) to manage quality control and system performance.

Securing America's Future. . . One Classroom at a Time!
We are committed to providing the correct fit for our client’s professional requirements for short or long-term Capital Project Management. What we do is simple: We are professional engineers, consultants and project managers dedicated to protecting America’s future. Working with local boards of education we implement means, methods and measures to “design-out crime” as we protect people, physical as well as intellectual property; through the use and application of innovative technology.
Long before the Columbine massacre and the tragedies of 9-11, we have been working with schools and local governments to creatively maximize physical security measures through the integration of CCTV Surveillance, Biometrics, Intrusion Alarm, Access Control and Energy Management Systems. These innovative techniques have demonstrated the feasibility and efficiency that comes with utilizing an existing IT infrastructure to lend greater access to monitor and manage each system.
